Minion Flask

Hey there! Just want to mention something. At the moment there are no real flasks for minions out there.
What would be if we had a flask that can apply curses that normally players would apply?
So every curse linked with mark on hit, hextouch or a curse on a ring would apply when a minion hits something.

I'd rather we not explore minion flask mods and instead stick to defense/utility flasks which we're currently juggling with right now.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

Yeah, it is kind of like the situation with bone rings and the nerfs those bone rings accompanied.

Keep in mind the bone rings were a NERF. a pretty massive nerf. Raw stats of all minions were cut across the board, accessible stats were removed from the tree

And they were added to bone rings. But we are already using our rings for unset rings. So now if we want what we lost back we have to lose up to 12 important mod slots in the form of these stupid bone rings.

I hate bone rings. I hate what the represent. And I hate the needless pressure they put on the ring slot.

And I really really REALLY don't want to have to deal wit that shit on my flask slots.

Because much like the rings flasks are pretty competitive for summoners
we don't get leech to solve all of our problems like attack builds do nor do we really have room for some of the more exotic mana management options casters get.

Baron aside. of course

As someone returning to the game after multiple years, I am disappointed in how gear-dependent Summoners have become. I thought Bone Rings and Convocation Wands were neat, but since then I've found out that there is fuck all in terms of minion stats on the tree, anymore. These items additionally don't appear to fundamentally address core issues with Summoners through their affixes, so we still need to use a bunch of bad uniques which are made even more bad by the defensive stat buffs that left these uniques behind, and all the while we have only gained even more skill gems competing for the same number of gem slots. It seems like minion AI even got a downgrade and Aggressive is just plain mandatory on everything that isn't SRS.

Yeah the minion gearing situation is bad.

Most minion unique weapons that don't have some hilariously busted mechanic like giving free wither stacks or immortal death spiders are outright never useful.

The all spells / or all minion skills mods are practically the only mod that matters on gear, this is especially true while leveling and only lets up marginally when you start approaching the ultra expensive crafts that add extra links to skills.

Why would I use queens decree/ midnight bargain or any of these shitty filler uniques when a + 1 wand with a mid minion damage roll and a trigger craft is objectively better.

I mean is there really a reason to use necronomic aegis these days when a fossilized shield grants plenty of minion buffing stats while also letting the summoner keep the block?
