Wildwood makes zero sense I doubt the devs even understand it.

lol are you sure it's the devs who don't understand it or is it you..

food for thought

I think some of if it is intuitive. Following wisps you see is pretty clear for trails. There are also indicators for wisps and their effects, I appreciate that I'm not needing to go to a wiki for this. The only thing I don't understand is the wildwood ascendancies, I'm not sure what exactly I need to do encounter denizens to get the ascendancy points or am I just getting unlucky.

There will always be optimization strategies that you will need videos for, but the basic understanding of the mech should always be clear.

Honestly, a mini tutorial would not be a bad idea similar to delve, but the league isn't in the new stage anymore and I doubt it's going core so it becomes questionable if it's even worth it.

I'm curious for where the meter is showing how much you can continue exploring, just a quick reveal of the location for the meter if there is one would be nice.

It is all the same...you have it right.

Just keep following the wisps of the right color for EVERYTHING except King of the Mists Stronghold (people already generally agree this is the ONE poorly designed aspect of Wildwood as it is almost completely based on luck of the draw). Some things are gated by level or area level, such as your first encounter with a denizen. I don't think you CAN until late Act 2 / early Act 3. Then, when you get to your 3rd ascendancy points the boss you need to find is gated behind level again, and then 4th ascendancy is t14+ only. Perhaps THOSE area requirements could be given to us on the quest log, but other than that it is literally just....follow the color for every single thing.

Optimization also requires no strategy...just get as many blue wisps as physically possible. if you start to run into a low patch of blue wisps or don't see any at first, then follow the other path with the most wisps. I'm pretty sure the game DOES tell you in plaques and things and at the very beginning that wisps become more concentrated the closer you get to an "event". That is the only basic info you should ever need to understand Wildwood.

More wisps = more juice = optimized. That's it. No need to watch video after video after video.
