Immortal syndicate and Use of 100% Experience compass

Hi all,

I’ve read that, to optimize running the immortal syndicate, one should use the charged compass that gives 100% experience. I’m just a little unclear on the steps. Are they as follows?

1. Level two safe houses to full experience.
2. Run the mastermind encounter.
3. Insert the compass in the map device.
4. Run the two safehouses.
5. Run a regular Jun mission.

Any help would be appreciated!

You will note that the wording is "100% increased Intelligence gained from Immortal Syndicate targets encountered in your Maps" - in your Maps, not anywhere else. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Affliction/2rEEJeohk

It's just supposed to help you get your safehouse intel faster. It's very cheap, like 1-1.5c per map, and any slight time gain will pay off massively due to the cost of Aislings at the moment.

You would just slot the compass in when you're doing normal Jun missions.
