CPU for 3.23

Hi everyone,

I need some advice on choosing a processor for playing Path of Exile. Currently, I'm using the Intel Core i5-10400F, but it seems to be insufficient. I'm considering either the Intel Core i5-14600K or the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. Could you help me decide which one would be the best option?

Thanks!

Do not waste money to upgrade for POE specifically, do it and play other games instead. I have ryzen 5900x with rx 6900xt and it seems to be insufficient to play poe 800x600 resolution in sanctum, where nothing happens basically. Meanwhile playing Apex 2k resolution stable 240 fps. Performance is bricked with latest patches, and ggg either ignore the problem totally or dont give a fuck about it.

Don't upgrade because one unoptimized game with developers who stay silent doesn't work.

I have a 11700k @5.1 all core, RTX 4070ti, PCIE4 NVMe and 3600mhz ram. Poe is constantly hovering between 50 and 60 fps at 1080p.

Meanwhile cyberpunk Playa natively at 1440p ultra no problem.
Well its very strange, last league I was having no issue with game, only on super juicy maps i was heaving drops on this patch 3.23 i have constant unexpected disconnects and drops in fps to 1. Lvled 2 champions this league but nothing more as playing white maps is no fun for me anymore. And looks like this league is one of best in poe history. Very sad I cant enjoy it. To be honest I upgraded my computer last league to 10400f, MB, Ram, GPU to 4060 and PSU. so basically whole machine.

Try different gateways, try predictive mode instead lockstep, so you will know if it's your hardware or on the other side.
Intel 10th gen is totally fine

However, what is your spec for graphic card, Ram and SSD?

probably ISP problem

anyway upgrade to 32GB ram is not that expensive

Personally i use 32GB ram but POE 1 seems not yet use all my ram , but i am afraid of poor windows core function nowadays
