Too many multiplicative effects
Especially on rare monsters.
A typical rare monster has 2-4 modifiers on it on top of regular modifier from being rare quality alone. That is fine. A stronger monster that isn't a map boss. Now it has an Essence modifier. Or eight of them. Essence monsters are always rare monsters. Now this is a monster that is already stronger than a map boss but we're barely starting out to "juice". This rare monster can also happen to be a Red Beast with 2 additional Bestiary modifiers. This is a monster that is much stronger than any map boss and perhaps even pinnacle atlas bosses (non-uber). It also fires an absolute clusterfuck of abilities because each essence and beast mod gives it new spells. But this monster can also get possessed by a tormeneted spirit. Or multiple tormented spirits. This will test even optimized endgame builds. It also can get under delirious effect and get a delirium specific modifier that has terrible font coloration and is barely readable. Do i have to mention that all map / altar mods apply as usual? And then there is Affliction league with three more modifiers that scale life, damage, damage resistance, projectile count etc. It's fucking ridiculous. All of these mods are "more" thus they multiply off eachother to produce stuff that has more health than a level 85 pinnacle boss. A boss is a boss. It has phases, telegraphed attacks, mechanics. A rare monster does not. It just overpowers you with raw maths and a clusterfuck of spells. This needs to be redesigned. Last bumped on Jan 9, 2024, 11:55:36 AM

Essence Monsters give no extra loot (escept essence ofc) while empowering monstr by a lot. If you struggle with DPS, dont even unfreeze them, you are just wasting time.
