Desync death and XP loss

300+ MBPS upload and download and 30 ping and dying on desync to the uber rippy mobs and the colorsplosions which is making the trek from level 95-96 absurd. Can you at least remove *half* the xp penalty on death since this isn't 1990s Everquest?

Exp penalty was outdated long before current mobs.

Yeah, so, uh... I was just about to post about this. I was going to give it a catchy, timely title, like, "Somehow desync had returned!" But here it is. The first post I see.

Bosses are laggy. I just got 180-no-scoped by the Reef boss. The boss went into its big slam animation, I flamed-dashed behind it, and he whirled around mid-animation and smushed me. It happened last night, too, on the Jungle Valley boss. I've noticed it a lot the past two leagues -- coinciding with the engine/graphics update. Bosses will be facing the opposite direction and then I'll just die out of nowhere with either no attack animation, a delayed animation, or a sped up animation. I'm on lockstep. I have low ping. I'm on a wired connection. I'm using one of the hidden, low-ping servers. And yet what I'm seeing on screen feels like it's a half-second behind what I'm experiencing in game. It feels almost exactly like the desync, /oos era from ~7-8 years ago.

They aren't really hidden. GGG announced when they opened in the News section. They just aren't on the server list to choose from as far as I know. You have to manually type in the location. One is in Canada and I know a couple more exist, but I can't remember where exactly since I don't use those. (I'm pretty sure there's one in New Zealand, but don't quote me on that.)

If you're dying to rippy juiced maps just level with Sanctum, you get a lot of exp from 83 tomes, lots of divines and tomes are still dirt-cheap. I got to lvl100 last league from Sanctum spamming and made 100 divines off it too lol
