[Suggestion] Atlas Tree + Atlas = ?
Currently we have an Atlas Tree and the Atlas map it self, but what would happen if we combine these into a single system?
Going into a map and killing the boss will allow you to interact with an altar where you could select a bonus (allocate an atlas tree point). This re-opens the possibility of regions, choke points (bosses), and a final goal (end game bosses and their uber versions) all mapped out. This means: - No more Atlas Passive Tree (https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree) - You get the Atlas Passive Tree bonuses by completing maps in the Atlas of Worlds (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Atlas_of_Worlds) - Newer players can progress through the game whilst gaining the bonuses they want. It's like killing two birds with one stone. Last edited by BlackMarshes212#1072 on Dec 21, 2023, 1:32:15 PM Last bumped on Dec 21, 2023, 1:30:43 PM

You mean separate atlas tree for each map?

This sounds both like the previous map system, and an awful nightmare to use, and an impossible scale bloat for development.

" No, I mean the atlas tree (https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/) is inside the Atlas of Worlds (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Atlas_of_Worlds#/media/File:Atlas_of_Worlds.png) and you get the Atlas Tree passives by killing the map respective map bosses. " I don't think so. I'm talking about combining the current Atlas of Worlds (end game maps) with the Atlas Tree passives. So each time you complete a map, you also gain bonuses. This would add meaning to killing bosses. It would also make it very clear on how to progress in the game. ... but hey! It's just a suggestion. I'm sure devs can take the idea... polish it a bit and give it a test run. |
