please buff ultimatum rewards
|
ultimatum is in such a sad state at the moment. its simply not worth the time to do. its such a long encounter, you can run a new map in the time it takes to do all the rounds and you get nothing for your time and trouble.
when players wanted ultimatum back they didnt want it like this.... Last bumped on Dec 20, 2023, 8:58:22 PM

I get really good rewards from ultimatum. The wheel in the middle with the "Worthy" notables lets you make currency/divination card/unique rewards more likely (I'm taking div + currency) while the wheel on the left side lets you make encounters with unfavourable requirements less likely (e.g. I dislike protect the altar as well as waves) while making the types you favor faster.
The one thing I want changed is league mechanic buffing up Trialmaster. And maybe up the chance for Inscribed Ultimatums in reds, they seem awfully uncommon The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge. Last edited by ArtCrusade#4438 on Dec 20, 2023, 5:33:25 PM

Tell me you can't clear wave 10 without telling me you can't clear wave 10?
I've got multi-divine rewards from Ultimatum several times this league already. It's CRAZY rewarding for those of us who are actually beating it. |

Ultimatum rewards are more than OK. One problem tho. The Trialmaster gets empowered by wisps making this impossible most of the times. If they remove this, Ultimatum would be perfect. At this moment u either have a huge budget build to beat a triple empowered Trialmaster, or skip woods on each map, a thing which i will not do. It`s as simple as that.
Remove the empower from Trialmaster so we can all have fun GGG :) |

" i never tried. i stop after a while because it offers me things i dont need. i rather continue with my map faster BTW, i dont have any atlas points, i guess i will try taking them although i dont see why we need to invest so many points just to make something rewarding. it should be at least semi rewarding naturally |

That's how it's designed tho.. the longer you keep going the better the rewards get.........
Did you seriously post this without properly testing the mechanic? The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" i dont need to test it. others find it unrewarding also. i bumped the other thread. BTW the guy with the hidden profile always posts negative stuff in my threads so i dont believe anything he says. Last edited by Lyutsifer665#1671 on Dec 20, 2023, 8:21:07 PM

" What do you consider to be "semi rewarding"? Pretty much every league with atlas passives requires investment into their respective nodes to get any real profit out of it. Then again, even with passive investment, some leagues still have terrible rewards like Breach and Abyss (inb4 GGG deletes them next). Expedition, Harbinger, Blight, and Harvest, just some examples, all have pretty bad loot without investment. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

" i dont have any legion or breach points either but i always get a few splinters from them. incubators too sometimes and some currency. i had some splinters turn into stones already. from blights i get oils and blighted maps and other stuff. i would consider these to be semi rewarding. ultimatum just offers me rares that i wouldnt even use in the campaign |

" This kind of feedback is just not very useful. You should provide feedback based on personal experience not on "other people said the same." For reasons I outlined in an earlier post you didn't bother responding to I explain why what you say is wrong and you ignore that Everyone knows early rounds are more likely yielding bad rewards. But sure, let's go with "ultimatum bad" and have them buff it so us who actually run it get even more out of it lmao The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
