Best build for Ubers in SSF

Hi,
I would like to know what is considered to be the best and easiest to farm build for the Uber Bosses in SSF this League. Some things to consider: -I only want to defeat one Uber Boss (at least at first) so it doesn't have to be perfect for all of them -I never tried the Ubers (will practice a bit in standard first though), so a tanky build would be good so I have some leeway with the mechanics -It doesn't matter at all if it's good at mapping, already have a mapping char -Could obviously make heavy use of the Affliction trees and spectres Thank you for your help! Just had my first try at uber awakener on ruthless, it is significantly harder, went in blind and had no idea what was going on. I imagine a large part of being able to do these fights is relearning the altered mechanics. While it was much more punishing of mistakes with the damage increase, I think someone who knew the fight would have been ok with my build but I couldn't do it with a better build, at least without many tries or studying videos. Unsure about the other bosses but I assume it's the same. For reference my build has only about 1-2mil dps which was enough to be getting him down, but is relatively tanky, have been able to tank normal maven last phase memory game with arctic armour up, yet uber die beam was able to get me.
It use to be possible to see uberboss kills on poe-racing, but I can't see them currently. If your mainly interested in getting one, probably focus on the fight you know the best and get a build that's particularly good in that fight, my build is in no way optimised for doing bosses or Sirius. Probably correct that there are some busted mechanics in league that will help currently. I remember a few leagues back detonating spectres was very effective against maven. " Thank you for your reply! What build did you use? I haven't researched yet, which Uber Boss is the easiest. Out of their regular counterpart I find the Eater to be by far the easiest, though I don't know if this is still true for the Uber version. |

Playing Rf/firetrap, no idea if it's good for any of ubers but i've completed all non-uber boss fights except the feared with it, lvl 92 and I'm not particularly good at bossing.
You would think eater would be one of the easier, but I was told it is still a jump up. Also not sure which is the easiest/cheapest to farm entry, that might be a factor if your running it multiple times. |

Yeah, I think RF is considered to be a really good mapping build, but not that good for bossing due to low single target damage.
I'm currently going for a SRS Guardian and and see if it works out. My main concern is, that the Spirits might die faster to the boss damage than I can summon them and that my rare spectres might die. |

Yeah I haven't done any bossing with minion builds but could be a problem. If I try any of the others I'll let you know how it goes.
For anyone who has completed ubers i'm wondering what is the relative difficulty of ubers vs witnessing the feared? Eg. Uber shaper vs witnessed shaper? (Edit: NVM just did witness shaper and realize its not much harder than normal shaper) Last edited by Belegur85#5784 on Dec 20, 2023, 8:10:12 PM

Uber Cortex is awkward because it can place either right at the top as hardest, in the middle, or near the bottom as easier because it's all dependant on what mods you get for it. Generally it isn't that hard though. Witnessed fights are 10x easier than the any Uber fight. For a build, Penance Brand of Dissipation is a free pass this league. I also just saw Zizaran releasing a guide for this build, so the word seems to be spreading (luckily you don't care for market prices in SSF) Also good to hear that Uber Eater is considered to be comparatively easy since I wanted to go for him anyways. |

" Yeah my ranking is based on the mechanics mostly. Eater is pretty similar to his base version with the only differences being his lazer beam shoots out 3 times, and he rotates whilst doing it, he has tentacles that slam down during the purple orb phase, and due to the fight taking a bit longer there ends up being more "drowning orbs" later on. It would still be worth reading the wiki pages on each fight as they each have some noticeable differences in them, including Maven (Degen pools persist from the 2nd memory game onwards) and Shaper (Ball Phase has no zana bubble to protect you) Ubers in SSF are a good challenge and will probably require a couple attempts before downing if its your first time and can be pretty skill dependant too. I did Uber Eater yesterday and cleared it on my Poison Molten Strike, then somehow failed an invitation later on with the exact same build and gear :^) ~4345 22/11/2024
