Essense In Crafting Device?

Dumb question, but I'm level 85 and almost to red maps. When does the option to purchase Essense in the map device become available? Seems I've never have been this far without it? Thanks!

Essence is not one of the Kirac options this time round.
You can unlock it via the Atlas tree - The Seventh Gate. 😹😹😹😹😹
