Ice trap of hollowness can't damage mobs with temporal bubble

I've been playing ice trap of hollowness and when I encounter a monster with temporal bubble, I can't kill it due to the hollow spot in the middle of ice trap. If I aim outside the bubble for ice trap to hit the monster, it also does not work since the monster takes no damage from things outside the bubble.
