Tumultuos torment 3rd challange doesn't pop

I run around with the fairgraves tricone so I can get possessed by a tormented spirit but as the title says, it doesn't pop when I get possessed. I've gotten possessed twice now and it still didn't get checked off. Am I doing something wrong or is it bugged?

Fairgraves' Tricorne says you can be touched by Tormented Spirits, not possessed by.

This challenge requires the Atlas keystone on the left side of the Atlas tree that prevents Tormented Spirits from possessing monsters, allowing them to possess players instead.
