Black Morrigan Help please

am I the only one unable to find this boss?

I go in over & over ad nauseam & I just can't find this boss. hundreds of maps & nothing. I very clearly see yellow wisps & purple wisps, but the blue wisps never show up like the other 2, so I'm just stuck sorta wandering around lost in the dark (literally lol).

does anyone have a video that shows someone going from start to finish finding morrigan? (like the minute or so of them loading into the map & running to the boss)

Like this just feels like the most unfun, completely broken mechanic I've had the displeasure of playing. I'm not sure who thought this was a good idea, but I hope someone remembers this come bonus time & gives them a lump of coal =)

*edit I even tried turning up bloom to 130% to see if that would help with the lighting issue, but nope!

I believe I've seen Morrigan 3 times, Incarnation of Agony 3 times, Abomination 4 times, Troll Shaman 2 times, the BBB 3 times, the king outside 4 times, and the portals to the final boss 4 times. Could be +/- 1. They all seemed to spawn pretty evenly and were fairly common.

If you're just trying for the challenges you can get them in another person's map.

Yes I'm just trying to do the challenge & failing lol, is there a channel folks are using in game to share morrigan runs? can you teach me the secret handshake? hehe =)

to answer my own thread lol...


After I gave up looking, while leveling & I did one & I ended up following the yellow lights & got it almost immediately. ran right smack into a very noticeable arena of wood. I've since found him a few more times, as well as finding & killing the king. Actually found & killed the king before I had even seen the morrigan once hehe.

if you are in maps & on the same quest, you can ask folks in 420 & 820 to hitch a ride, but if you're still leveling in the campaign, then this option won't work for you, or at least it wouldn't for me. kept telling me I was on the wrong part of the quest & wouldn't allow me to join the party.
