King in the Mist not counting toward quest for last 2 points of ascendency?

So I found the king in the mist and killed it but it didn't count toward the quest, its stuck as if I hadn't found his stronghold yet.

according to poedb, you should get quest to kill him in his stronghold (83 lvl area?, quest given at 80lvl?)
BUT, Me and my friend killed him during acts and got two passive points and praise from npc. After that i could not get the quest to disturb his ritual or kill morrigane (after changing ascendancy, unless it skipped that quest and counted for it, even if i had not the other ascendancy at that time, should at least get quest finished in questlog >:/ ). |

KILLED HIM NUMEROUS TIMES regular and twice now in his stronghold still no extra 2 choices
