Raise Spectre summones wrong spectre
Same problem here.

Want to bump this up because it just happened to me. I wasn't even using spectres yet so I didn't have a pool. Tried to raise a Meatsack and ended up with a Desecrated Bonestalker. Thought I'd messed up somehow, removed Desecrate from my trigger wand (Flesh Offering was already out, don't have Spell Echo or anything else that would mess with corpses or casting Raise Spectre), and tried again with a turtle, no other corpses around. Same thing, got the Desecrated Bonestalker.
I can successfully raise non-Wildwood corpses, went to act 2 and tried on a Carnage Chieftan and that was fine, but if I pop one of the Wildwood corpses on the ground, it will now end up as a Carnage Chieftan rather than a bonestalker. I know it's been passed along so hopefully a fix is coming, but probably could use some visibility so people know what's going on. | |
This wouldn't be all that annoying if it was reasonably easy to find the shop and refresh the spectre pool. I ended up wasting a better part of my stock of perfect meatsacks and forest warriors while discovering this bug. I've workarounds that work now but to put extra salt on the wound, I don't think I've seen the body vendor (or his stock overflowing with perfect bodies) for a long time now.
Luckily my build isn't too reliant on these spectres, but it definitely caused a significant drop in my other minions' survivability and damage output. |

Bumping this, it happned to me aswell, playing with an evangelist from campaign, him eventually dying while im playing through.
I get to hideout and try to summon spectres on the hailrake corpse(I dont remember what its actually called). This works fine and he's summoned alone. I put the fire duet spectre corpse on the ground and try to summon that one, it becomes and evangelist instead. I am 100% certain that i even made sure there were no other corpses around, targeted her and made sure it was the right name. It still became an evangelist. Ever since this my spectres randomly become basic spectres when i summon from the special corpses from the league mechanic. Very excited to play with spectres, this is extremly frustrating. Playing a purespectre character :( |

Ggg needs a fix on this. Makes me want to quit the game. I suggest a spectre save book or tab the can recall any you have used.

I made the corpse in my hideout for the new spectre perfect forest warrior. It deleted the corpse and instead summoned the spectre I already had perfect spirit of fortune. I now have 2 perfect spirits of fortune. It also created another corpse for the perfect spirit of fortune. I now have 2 of the same spectre and a corpse on the ground of the same spectres I already have.

I just had the same issue a few minutes ago. Thought I messed up the first time, but the same thing happened when i tried it again 10 minutes later. I summoned the corpse of a guardian turtle in my hideout and I got some wierd skeleton mob. I am glad I am only out 35c rather than mutliple divs.

FYI if you have this issue:
I had the same issue and found a post on Reddit. There someone said it seems to be an issue with corpses in the Hideout and raising them should work in a map. I tried it in a map with some imperfect corpses, just in case, and it worked for me. Then I raised my perfect corpses in a map as well. In maps I have no issues. So it seems plausible for me, that the issue is linked to the Hideout. If you try this, I suggest trying with corpses you do not need first. Just to be safe. Bump, YO GGG. Its been two weeks and this Bug still breaks raising specters. I cant tell how many of the new Specters my guildies and I lost because the Game decides to raise something totally different.

Still happening. I just lost some perfect spectres in SSF. It is beyond painful.
