The new molten strike "each fitfth attack" does not include the strikes from multistrike support gem.

Yep since the % dmg of 5th attack is scalled from quality so once you have 20% then it's 1000%
|

Thats working as intended no? Ruthless support does the same thing where you need 3 sets of multistrikes to get a ruthless blow. Or 6 hits total with it then hits 7, 8 and 9 are counted as ruthless blows.

As already noted, Multistrike make an attack repeat twice within the same attack, it doesn't add them. And the rest "200% more Damage with Hits and Ailments" come from quality.
