Does this game have pvp?

Does path of exile have a dueling feature, or any sort of pvp?

There have been some test runs of a league called 'Cut-Throat', in which full pvp is enabled, you can enter anyone's instance (game, essentially) and steal their stuff -- all deaths result in your equipment and inventory (minus gems) being showered to the ground.

Such leagues ran for about 3 hours, so they're not what you'd call sustained PvP with established characters.

There is a plan to implement 'arena PvP' in the next few patches, sometime between now and Open Beta, which is slated for August.

It will have PvP in 0.9.12 patch.

Probably will have to wait till after 9.11 patch comes out will we get to hear anything new about the PvP.

"0.9.12: This patch will fix most of the issues with Minions. It will also introduce PvP arenas and the ability to challenge other players to duel. We expect to improve the Brutus fight in this patch as well."
