League mechanic is impossible in maps

Yeah the variance is way too high. This feels incredibly unpolished.
Have no idea why every league mechanic has to start at this unenjoyable overtuned level. You're literally incentivizing the majority of the players to avoid it...

100% agree.

I actually enjoy the mechanic itself and I want to explore the Wildwood in every area, but throughout the entire campaign I could sense how overtuned wisp-infected monsters are.

It's definitely happened with past leagues, but this one really feels like they put arbitrarily high numbers on damage reduction, action speed, etc. without much thought.

And what confuses me even more is that the wisp empowering is uncontrollable even though we've had a past league and a very recent Blast from the Past event that showcases a mechanic where players CONTROL what monsters get buffed and by how much. That part has always stuck out to me as weird from the outset of Affliction.
Avid door opening enjoyer.
I got to Merveil in campaign and with just one empower I had to refill in town as its taking minutes to kill.

I'd be avoiding this in boss areas the whole campaign, otherwise its fine in most areas.
