I did not see anyone mention this yet:
Adding a lot of Projectile Speed appears to stop Chain from working entirely. I tested with all 3 versions of them gem it is the same for them all (lingering blades also). Using a 38% proj speed Gloomfang and adding 8% proj speed jewels. Adding the first 3 jewels seems fine putting me at 62% proj speed.(38 + 8 + 8 + 8) As soon as I add a 4th jewel putting me at 70% proj speed, the EK stops chaining entirely. (I tried changing order I equipped them in, to make sure it was not specific one) Distance from the monsters does not matter, you can stand point blank or you can hit them on the edge of the screen. It also does something else that lowers the damage even further, but I can't tell what. Testing on tanky rares, my DPS drops by like x5 or more. In PoB not chainingg drops my damage by around 50%. So something else must be happening. With 70% proj speed, this one rare was out regening my ignites. Removing the jewel and hitting it again it dies like 1-2 seconds. Too lazy to test further. I'm shocked but kudos where they're deserved. I believe this is actually fixed now. Projectiles go out the proper distance, but unfortunately still do not return as it should. We're getting closer though at least.

Return proj is still broken. If it doesnt hit a wall, its not returning still.

Alright, so the proj speed seems to be just fine now, however projectiles still don't return unless they hit a wall.

Bumping and looking for any confirmation on returning projectiles.
The inconsistency is still there, and unless the support gem itself has incorrect information, the projectiles are only returning upon hitting a wall. Expected behavior is that the projectiles return at the end of their trajectory, and the support gem doesn't indicate anything about obstacles being the condition for return. Previous to this build, all projectiles did return. Merchant of the Sans Pants Trading Co.
