Ability to Disable Effects / MTX For other Players

Please let me turn their trash effects off, especially the stupid gremlin band. That stuff is annoying.

+1 Just add this option already, some players like me literally cannot play content like Heist because you decided for some reason to make the rogue harbor a town with players(even though it was empty like the menagerie and your sanctum waypoint are now). It makes no sense for you to see players in rogue harbor unless you're in a party. My PC heats up wayyy too much in that town full of people with their rainbow suits. So I just can't play heist because of other people with mtx on, even though I really enjoy that content. Also the goblin band is the most annoying thing ever, every 10 seconds in every town I heard it while leveling.


We need that option badly, people won't stop buying your supporter packs or mtx just because you add it, most people buy them so their character can look cool to *them*, they don't care who sees them in town for 2 seconds.

Some form of reducing the effects or outright disabling other ppl mtx needs to be implemented.

Yes, first the Rogue harbor and now the goblin troupe.
The goblin troupe is worse than a bug - it is constantly annoying, it was NOT presented as such!
Either fix the stupid goblins or add an option to dial down other players sound FX.
There is an option to disable Gameplay Event voices FFS and not this annoyance /cry

It's very annoying not being able to play while you are in town because of lots of players with shiny mtx that cook your pc. They have lots of options to reduce graphics and improve performance on low end pcs but this just makes all of that worthless. I had to wait until players with loud and annoying mtx with apparitions and other pet stuff go away from town to be able to interact with vendors.

+! Would like to see the ability to disable audio MTX events, and not render resource expensive MTX on other players.

100% agree with getting rid of the MTX Sounds when in town. Repetitious ear garbage.

i ve got TONS of mtx purchased.

i disabled tons of them. reasons:

1. i cant see shit on the floor that i need to avoid
2. i get blinded when the contrast of light in dark areas are jarring
3. worried that its causing performance issues

sound mtx definitely spoil atmosphere in towns, it would be better to hear the chatter of people and battles in the background for a better atmosphere and preferably not too harshly so that the shelter still remains a shelter
