Hi! Does Righteous Fire burning damage have the same cap as DoT? Or can burning damage scale higher?

for all purposes it doesnt, the cap is 36 million on ubers, which is like 100m dps regular, those numbers are not really atainable on rf build, so you wont hit cap anyway

There are builds floating about with righteous fire at dot cap, to the point someone posted that Vaal RF wasn't adding any damage.... it was because they were already at cap, so Vaal RF didn't add any value.

Hard to imagine an rf build with 36m uber dps. Maybe 36m non uber dps, unless there is some sc shenanagins I haven't messed with or adorned crap.

Ya, but thats not uber dot cap. Unless you're well over dot cap then getting more damage doesn't hurt anything. It lets you account for map mods and if you're wanting to do ubers, it helps with that.
