MacOS M1 air crashing

your home directory Library/Application Support/Path of Exile/Path of Exile.app

Run it, it will do its thing, then click launch. Since the reinstall i mentioned, i never had any issue since.

The problem is with the "update.dat" file.

You need to find your Path of Exile folder and delete the "update.dat" file.
Restart the game with the "Path of Exile.app" file.
Works fine that way. You need to repeat this procedure whenever there is an update.
