Res flask help!

If you are res capped, what do res flask do and are the needed? Can some one help please and thanks.

The fire, cold and lightning res flasks provide 20% less damage taken of their respective element which is a pretty substantial amount.

The chaos res and all res flask dont do much if you are capped. The all res flask can over cap you to help with curses/exposure but that wouldnt be a very efficient use of a flask slot.

adding to the comment above, it doesnt make much sense to use elemental res flask if your resistances are already capped, unless you want a unique flask like dying sun for mapping/bossing

most builds that use magic elemental res flasks have permanent uptime on them through pathfinder or the traitor keystone

if you're going pf, you can just use flasks to cap your res. don't need to max it through gear

there are some things in the game that can siphon flask charges and render you very vulnerable but those are rare enough so you dont need to worry about them on softcore
