Summoners and the "cost" of AG and now Spectres

Hi,
Can you please bring to team this topic. There are very few items that you cant re-sell and items that "disapear" The AG gear you cant re-sell and if it dies they also disappear. Now there is also Spectres that have a value and you instant "loose" the money if you use them. I dont think it should be balanced in this way for summoners. I tried doing an AG build a couple leagues ago. Only took one AG death for me to instantly abandon the build. I'm not paying handfuls of divines to risk losing it all.
As for the new spectres, I'm conflicted. On one hand, I'd rather have a transfigured spectre gem that lets me raise unique monsters as minions. On the other hand, if shelling currency means I can finally have something like Shaper guardians as minions, especially when the skill has been terrible since the myriad of nerfs the skill received over the past few leagues, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

I just think its strange that minion builds are the only one that has to "delete" items & currency for their builds all other can just re-sell their gear.

Spectre's don't have a cost, this is the result of the service industry within poe and once you have them you can desecrate them as much as you want.
You should not have to pay someone for a spectre, if someone made you pay for a spectre please don't give them money in the future, that service has always been ran for tips only which people often gave a good amount in tips so there was no need. Not to say spectre's don't need any attention but outside of very late-game play they are in a pretty great spot, only thing i would want for spectre's is automatic resurrection after a delay on a jewel/gear for late game play or for GGG to actually give proper defensive options for minions in general. AG however does need some QoL, its being treated too much like a secondary buff and for those who do invest heavily in it the losses can be quite heartrending for players who are not economically as well off. " oh, my bad :P bit out of the loop on the current mechanic, Yeah that's its own bucket of worms for sure. The loss of a gameplay-enabling pet that you cant raise would definitely hurt quite a bit, it already hurts enough with permanent spectres that you can bring back so it will be interesting to see how they handle such a system, my guess is that the tradeoff is you get much more power but also have to be much more careful with your pets as well or you'll never get a full set of whatever powerful monsters you want. Yes, its the new Spectres I was referring to.
There are no other builds that have this mechanic that you do a permeant investment that you cant re-sell if you want to make a new character. (that I can think of) Also for Spectres, be carful what item you change, jewel or skill point. Cause it might make all of them just go "poff" and you loose this really rare and valuable Spectre. If you have your Spectres in your body armor and want to put it in the crafting bench... go to town, move gems to different item first? It feels really bad to me and I really hope someone from ggg would comment on this. |

Im going to bet that someone players can Team kill ag or spectres in some really weird way and ggg is never going to fix it.
