Plaguebringer "nearby"

The necro ascendancy plaguebringer grants buffs if there is a corpse "nearby" which increase the damage done by my "nearby" minions (and me) while "nearby" enemies will do reduced damage.

2 related questions:

1. In order for the "nearby" minions to do more damage, does this corpse need to be "nearby" ME or "nearby" the minions or both?
2. In order for the "nearby" enemies to do reduced damage, does this "nearby" corpse need to be "nearby" to THEM or ME or both?

(Ideally, it would also be nice to know what "nearby" means exactly, but that I addressed in a different wiki article...)

thanks much in advance

From the wiki: "In addition, while near a corpse, you and nearby allies gain more damage while nearby enemies deal reduced damage."

I think this means "In addition, while [you are] near a corpse, you and nearby allies gain more damage while nearby enemies deal reduced damage."

Nearby is left intentionally vague in general, as too many numbers can overwhelm players. However, it would be nice to have an in-game solution to displaying the actual values.

Thanks.
I was hoping that's how I could interpret that as well, but it still sounds unclear.
Is the following correct?
- all enemies do reduced damage everywhere to everything as long as I am standing "near" a corpse?
- my minions do more damage everywhere as long as I am standing "near" a corpse?
(I no longer care about the ambiguity of "near", it seems to be about 3/4 of a screen.)

No, only nearby Allies (and minions) and nearby Enemies. Also, different mods and skills have different "nearby" values.
