Saffel's Frame + Versatile Combatant = Block ATTACK damage ??

Hey folks,

I'd like to report something that I suspect is a bug (either UI, or in calculations itself)

Simply put, Saffel's Frame states that "Cannot Block Attack Damage". Thus, when I equip it, in fact my % to block attack damage vanishes, remaning only % to block Spell Damage

On the other hand, Versatile Combatant keystone says among other things "-25% to maximum Chance to Block Attack Damage"

The point is that when I allocate this keystone, my % block attack damage reppears, with +24% ?!

Is that correct ? Is it really working, or just a UI mistake ?

Can you include screenshots for base block, with shield, with keystone and without shield, and with both? (compile into one image if it's easier)

From when I last used that shield, your stats screen will still show that you can block attacks, but when the equation for rolling block happens, nothing happens cause you can't block attacks. There's a handful of ways to scale stats based off your chance to block so the stat remains for those purposes. That said, it shouldn't vanish at all by just equipping the shield. The 24% showing does sound normal. If screenshot shows inconsistency, I'll check my chars as well.

Sounds like it's a UI thing where no matter what they show, it'd be either wrong or unhelpful, so they went with what was helpful.

Versatile Combatant makes overcapped attack block chance add to spell block, so you want to be able to see your attack block to know where you're at with that.

If it showed block chance as 0%, the player could assume their maximum block chance was 0% and thus any chance to block attacks you have is "overcap".
