make it lvl 100 "exclusive" - real penalty for dying in SC - my point of view
I smell troll bait tread
Meh... ill bite anyway... Better solution: Make: 1- levels past 95 solo-exclusive, you cant get any xp while in party after 95(still can lose if you die) 2- Also, make xp gained from special instances one time only: You only get xp from the first breach you complete each level, you only get xp from the first timeless conflict per level, only gain xp from the first sindicate safehouse you raid and so on(exceptions are 100% delirium maps and systesis\influenced maps), to gain repeated xp on league content, it must spawn during regular mapping 3-Increase requirements for the map as you move above 95: like, after 96 you only get xp from magic maps or above, after 97 only get xp if the map is rare, on 98 the map must be rare and corrupted, 99 map must be rare, corrupted and have at least 6 affixes Other than that, you ALREADY can have a (multiple of 10-%) death penalty: Just make a personal policy to suicide a bunch if you die... or play HC... |

Some things are just trophies. They're not necessary to play the game - even at top levels.
100 or getting 40 challenges are just a few of those trophies. Some people won't ever be able to get them. Such is life. For a personal example - I know that I will never be good enough or have the time to ever get 40 challenges in a league. I won't own that big cool eagle trophy. But I don't think GGG should diminish the work of the people who put the time in just so I can have one. The killers with the giant glowing totem pole did more than I, and they get a cool trophy to show for it. Good on them. Last edited by Sabranic_SilverDeth#2793 on Oct 27, 2023, 8:33:51 PM

I don't get the point of posts asking for the increase in penalty to exp. If you're not happy, go make your character die a pointless death in acts or delve, problem solved.
I would be interested in a way to seal exp i.e. prevent exp gain and loss, this would also apply to gems. |
