Does Ricochet from Deadeye interacts with Molten Strike balls for single targets?

Ricochet is just another source of +1 chaining, nothing unique about it, so no, since molten strike rocks cannot chain by default. When they hit the ground, they cease to exist. However there was unique interaction with its treshold jewel which created chain capability.
