Killing Venarius in Cortex, got the challenge but not the favoured slot / nor Maven's witness

Hi, I've done the Cortex recently, I've got the challenge for killing him with 12 voit pits/pylons active but I didn't unlock the favoured slot nor did the Maven witness it. It was on my char HissyBrat in the current league.

Did you do it solo? Because the map owner is the one who gets credit for those 2 things.

Hi, yes, I did solo, it. The only "odd thing" that happened was that I've died together with the boss, I got the challenge completed but that's it. I went back inside to check for loot but nothing was there.

Then this is the intended behavior. You must be in the instance at the time of the boss death and loot drop animation to get loot and completion (even if dead).

Hmmmm interesting, I'm pretty sure I've waited unless I've clicked back to town too fast. Hard to tell now.
Strange though that the challenge for killing him in a certain condition worked but not the other one. Thanks anyway. |
