How does map quantity and scrabs affect boss maps and invitations?

Hey guys.

I have previously asked regarding map tier increase % on atlas and it's effect on map boss drops:

I got confirmed it had no effect.

However I am still curious:

- Reliquary scarabs (more maps found). What effect will they have on boss/invitation map drops?

- I know that map quantity doesn't affect map drops, does it affect boss/invitation map drops though?
