WILDSTRIKE - how to scale it ?!

Rakiata's is a good choice too OP for a suitable crutch
you scale it the same way you scale other attacks, there's not much difference.

if I were to play a hit based wild strike, I'd choose one of the few ways to use it.

1. use a pure phys wep with high pdps and scale it with trinity and elemental equilibrium. no combat focus, scale crit, crit multi, attack speed and elemental penetration. can benefit from both increased physical damage and elemental damage

2. use an elemental weapon, possibly a claw, trinity without elemental equilibrium and again, scale crit, crit multi, attack speed, elemental damage and elemental penetration. no combat focus

3. use a pair of combat focus jewels for an element of your choice (lightning has the best clear, and a pretty good helm enchant and an alternate quality), only scale one element, cant use trinity

you need non-vaal strike skills target additional enemies mods on gear/tree like other strike skills. or you can make ignite/poison with it, but ignite ws sucks, and poison requires pneumatic dagger

in general, it's a bad skill because elemental equilibrium is too weak, lightning strike and flicker strike have better/faster clear than wild strike and hits twice (basically double damage), molten strike is better for poison, and skills like shield charge are far better for ignite. for ws to be viable they have to rework and buff combat focus jewels, buff elemental equilibrium and make ws easier to scale. it's just not worth it because anything you can do with ws, something else does it better
"buff grenades"

- Buff Grenades (Buff-Grenades)
Ideally you would only block a single element, and try to scale 2 damage types. There are probably some unique interactions you can take advantage of by using 2 damage types. Probably Lightning to shock, and either fire to ignite, or cold damage to freeze, but you wont get high enough freeze most likely to freeze a boss, so it depends what you are going for. Shock and ignite is probably good enough. Use claws because they are fast, you can get lots of crit and crit damage, and use Nightblade / elusive.

Just ignore the tool tip dps. It is inaccurate because it only calculates the damage of the initial hit.

Some unique interactions

- Pyroshock clasp
- Dyadian Dawn
- The Admiral
- Leadership's Price
- Stormfire

Side Notes

-I don't know if this works, or if anyone has tried it, buy if you block fire and lightning damage, you will then have all cold damage, along with the cold damage effect, which is a projectile. This then means you can increase projectile count, and then have the projectiles return through various methods. If this works, it will solve the 1 downside of most strike skills including this skill, which is the fact that you can't activate the effect without hitting something, and the fact that better skills like Lightning Strike can just hit the ground, and can hit twice. This will allow you to get multiple hits in on a target, gives you aoe clear potential, and better single target dps.

- Follow up. Apparently Wild Strikes secondary effect is unable to hit the target who is hit with the initial hit. As such the above if it works can still possibly be done, you would need to use Hydrosphere, and see if you can hit it with Wild Strike. So place Hydrosphere down, attack it, and the secondary effects will go off and hit everything other than the hydrosphere itself, if it is able to hit it.
