Accuracy doesn't add up on EA totems

My character has had 100% hit chance for weeks and suddenly today I only have 68% hit chance. Am I not noticing some kind of interaction here?

Its the "Worthy Foe" ascendancy.
If you did hit your enemy you will taunt them, if they are taunted they cant evade, if they cant evade your hit chance is 100%. |
