Question about weapon dps.

I've been searching for an answer to this and can't find one anywhere. Is accuracy added into weapon dps on an item? for example
has a dps of 404, but is that accuracy part of that, or is accuracy not taken into account?
Accuracy is checked against the monsters evasion rates, so your DPS depends on which monster you fight. So no, acccuracy isn't a part of the calculation.
Thank you very much for that answer. So this mace has an accurate dps, unlike weapons with crit dmg and chance which do get added to total dps.(since most melee marauders cant use crit.)

I always thought accuracy was actually a part of the "dps tooltip" estimation. (As usual being checked against fictional average monster of your level.) Also all the Strength and passives are part of it, why accuracy shouldn't be? Are you sure it isn't? Crit. is...

What 'dps' are we talking about?

We are just talking about the actually dps of the weapon, with nothing else added(no level, str passive or anything.) So there is no way to know exactly percent to hit that accuracy is giving you, which is why i figured i couldn't be calculated in it's dps.

ps. for example you can go here http://poe.xyz.is/ and search for items on the forums. You can type in a base weapon dps and then sort them in order of highest to lowest.

weapons dont display dps, the numbers are damage range per hit

accuracy / crit are only factored in if you choose to do so

I'm talking about the average amount of damage they do per second with all the mods on the weapon and nothing else taken into account. Pretend they are swinging themselves.

I see. But I don't think such calculation is very useful since in the game the weapons don't swing themselves and the neglected variables do matter...

They don't matter all the time, resolute technique makes accuracy worthless. So I wanted to know if it is calculated into the dps of the weapon when I search for them.

as i said, they are only calculated in if you choose to calculate them in... the game itself doesn't do a dps calculation on the weapon. so ultimately it depends on how the database you're searching does the calculation

in practice the only things that are counted are damage and attack speed; accuracy depends on what you're hitting and crit depends on your own crit bonuses

you could even argue that physical and elemental need their own dps #'s since those are affected by different mods

tl;dr ask the guy who made the thing you're searching with
