Triumvirate Authority - Make buffs apply to entire gem

Edit: I got confused how the ring works, so fixed the contents of this post.

So the really fun part about vaal caress is how you get +5 gem level, which is massively powerful and fun to use the normal part of the gem alongside the vaal version.

Presently only the +2 level of socketed gems works on the normal skill portion when in Triumvirate Authority, and only the vaal portion of the skill receives any of the extra benefit.

I would like to suggest that the ring instead apply to the gem as a whole (so long as its a vaal gem), making it so players can use this ring as a fully supported skill instead of just a vaal skill blasting power (where it rarely actually see's use so far as I'm aware).

If the ring needs to be balanced a bit as a result that would be fine, but the idea of being able to socket a skill in this ring and instantly use it would be fantastic.

Is this some sort of suggestion disguised as a bug report? The ring does what it's designed for - improves Vaal skills.

Vaal gems contain a common skill and a vaal skill. The potentially confusing thing here is the shortened wording "Socketed Vaal Skills" which is not very accurate because skills can't be socketed (they don't have physical form or something). Gems can be socketed, so the more precise but overwhelming wording would be "Vaal Skills from Socketed Gems".

vaal gem and vaal skill are different.

the non-vaal skill in the same vaal gem is not a vaal skill

there was an era that vaal gem is not even hybrid like this

No this is me seeing the skill get +2 levels and my brain registering it as receiving 150% more damage when that isn't what happened.

Could support move this to suggestions instead please.
