i dont understand this node. if i see a shrieking essence do i corrupt it or not? i dont care about what drops i just want to get this challenge done

I would just spec into essence and blast maps like normal. Its one that will happen naturally over time.
And its a 1/3 (or 1/4 cant remember) to upgrade the essence when you corrupt them. |

Easy is all relative. Its easy in the fact that it can happen as part of a popular mapping strategy and doesnt really take any skill or extra effort beyond that.
If you are desperate for the challenge you can just pony up for a few einhar memories as well. And the memories basically pay for themselves too with all the essences you get. |
