Is tota the best way to level to 100 solo?

Hit 100 by doing exclusively tota and nothing else. Started at around level 94. At the end I got somewhere between 1 and 2% after each completed tota run.

If your goal is to get level 100 solo , this is the time . I started at level 85 , got addicted , even with the rewards nerfed , now i'm 45% exp away from max level , although level 100 is not my goal .

I mean, you don't even have to finish acts to get to 100 in tota.

Maybe lvl 60 is enough to set up your cheese build, buy a bunch of coins and level away.

I agree with OP this one seems to be a good way for people who attempt for level 100 since there is no EXP loss. Guess getting around 1k coins first and then trying it out.

Imo i think another good way to level 100 was Kalandra league with these Untainted Paradise nodes. At level 97 each one gave like 5-10 percent, depending on tier and mob density.

if you die a lot I guess. I wasn't getting much xp in tota at all. Use that omen that reduces your xp penalty and do breach or 5 ways.

It actually doesn't matter. Because whatever you do, dying is what prevents you from leveling. Facing how much exp it takes from 99 to 100 surely 40mio/h is better than 14, but in the end both are too slow to offset repeated deaths. So the secret is to run content that, under no circumstances, kills you.
If I would attempt it it'll be just blasting magic t16 maps with maven witness for essences + beast + boss rushing.
U get a bit of extra ep from the beasts, with a fully finished build both essences and beasts are save and do not pose a thread, same goes for the triple bosses or the maven 10 fight. Like that u make a solid amount of currency while slowly grinding up.
Friend of mine did the same but with deli mirrors instead of essences. Drops are here the simu splinters and orbs, he also swapped einhar for alva for more splinters and bulk sold temples. Same concept, different Details
