The new incubator marker on items does not display when shift-applying

The problem occurs when you use shift-click to apply incubators to several items.

Items that were already marked before the shift-click series are ok. They do have the small marker in the lower right corner.

But items that are shift-clicked to apply incubators do not get the marker.

You have to release the shift key and then they'll get the marker.

That makes me either (a) unable to apply incubators serially or (b) unable to use the new markers to see what I already have clicked.

The new functionality is not working in this very common (I think) scenario.
