My top 3 most fun Mapping league mechanics.

Ultimatum
Scourge

My feedback is to bring back some of the mapping fun pls. Ghosts are less fun.

Damn, these three might be the worst. Sentinel required you to modify your thingy, Ultimatum made you run in circles and Scourge mobs are way stronger than their Beyond counterparts.
The Scourge mechanic was really cool. Too bad they didn't manage to tune krangling well.

Ultimatum was cool aswell. Intense fights and solid risk/reward aspect.

Sentinel was pretty bad. People just liked it for the loot drops. Bring back Recombinators though.
The best league map mechanics will continue to be the ones that add dynamics to maps.

This can go all the way back to Abyss and Zana. You find Zana in your map. Oh what fun side trek will you do. It has an abyss. You kill an abyss boss. Kill the map boss. Exit Zana then find another mechanic in the original map like Syndicate then you kill that map boss and onto another adventure.

This is the power of ARPGs. Dynamics are what they do best and while it's not bad to have side realms like Heist and Delve. The things that mesh best are seamless and kinda obvious in nature.

Ultimatum was great. The better Ritual as I call it.
Scourge had backtracking issues in a game where players hardly clear 50% of maps.
I honestly though Sentinel was going to replace Torment. I'm still baffled why it didn't.

I really miss a lot of those crazy random adventures thanks to Zana.
The game could really use more dynamic map branching instead of map favorites.
