The description is not perfect but people already pointed out other item with similar behaviour exists (eg timeless jewel).
And press alt clearly show it is not fixed. Also there are a lot of mod that wrapped the text such as if 100% ailment is rollable, or additional arrow and two additional arrows ..... This game is learn it in hard way, or just use alt and read wiki and learn from timeless jewel experience. Even the divine orb's text is fixed, you don't have a chance to get the item back, as it is the ggg policy. This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. While i am not sure about Alt button, but at least timeless jewel is 3.7 While Forbidden Shako 3.11 (replica 3.12) They all clearly show the variable in bracket    This is just game knowledge but not a bug. " It does not matter. each skill (non-vaal) gem is assigned to a number and each number has a equal chance to roll. Just like throwing a dice. It does not matter if 1 = orange, 2 = apple, 3 = banana, 4 = water melon, 5 = pear, 6 = mandarin. Unless the dice is skewed. It does not matter if 1 = orange and 2 = apple, or 2 = orange and 1 = apple Note that for Forbidden Shako case. The number assignment is fixed. The oldest support gem GMP is always no1, the newest support gem that added by a new patch, is always the greatest number in the numeric range So that it should behave like that with this new item. Otherwise no one want to have fucked up item due to the numeric value was shifted to another skill gem
The only can of worm for this mod text wrapping is legacy timeless jewel.
Which it will delete the legacy name if you use the orb on the item.

It was never a bug. Just a poor description. The description update was warranted but no one was confused by items like shako for the years that they have existed.
