Guardian: Connect "Bastion of Hope" with "Unwavering Crusade" or add something else

By forcing to path into the USELESS delayed spell "Radiant Sentinel", to take the aura minions, you prevent interesting builds such as non-delayed-spell builds because this ascendency wastes 2 points for nothing


NB:

delayed spell = your definition of minion

bruh, 20% less damage taken from hits alone as long as you remember to do a button once in a while is already an absurdly strong defensive ascendance node. The fact that it even does anything beyond that is just free money.

The aura may not clear crowds, but its great for applying consistent pressure against ES recharge on large groups of stuff.

Sure hes slow, but your a summoner. Convoke your stuff onto whatever suits your needs.

Also, his melee cycle may not hit fast, but it hits absurdly hard; mine swings for about 950k average every 1.7 seconds. Fantastic for producing chills, freezes and shocks on exceedingly fat targets, given I'm running full elemental conversion.

The tools you are offered are fantastic for the jobs they are intended to be used for. If you want to use them for a job they are not intended for and find they surprisingly don't work for those jobs to your liking, I would suggest trying a different tool that might have been intended for that job.

Against anything fat enough that my sentinel will provide shocks the rest of my minions wont, they wont flee in time to avoid getting hit when I convoke.

You don't need monstrous hits to shock small mobs, you need them to shock big ones.

If your looking to shock random stuff other than really thicc archnemesis bois carrying multiple ghosts or something, I'd recommend an added lightning gem.

Against thicc chads that are worth stopping to murder, my fatboi does his job quite neatly.

Please though, tell me some more theories about how my build doesn't work.

All that to say, still doesn't change that his primary function is 20% less damage taken from hits for virtually free, which would be enough to take the ascendancy on its own. Everything else is free money.

More buffs to manage, more buttons to press like a robot doesn't make the game better for me
