That is very unintuitive and something I doubt GGG intentionally implemented to address the problem. Imagine having to blow sulphite to go backwards in a Delve.

Of course I already knew that. But that's just a very incredibly slow and broken way of doing things and takes forever.

What's your rank and DPS? What build are you running?

They can protect up to 7 totems including its own, meaning if you want to win, you have to kill them. At a certain point in rank, they have ungodly amounts of HP to chew through so unless your damage is measured in Shapers Per Second, dealing with them is pure pain.

Don't know about DPS but I am comfortably running rank 700. Probably can reach rank 1,000 without much of an issue unless I get pretty unlucky.
yes titanic shell is not a biggest TOTA problem to me (rank 1299) but it takes time to kill him. After last patch unkillable bloodbound warrior is the worst problem

Those should be counterable with Ryslatha pantheon and an eldritch mod that both reduces enemy HP regen. Having both should nullify their ability to heal.

i mean, the rewards are greater in the trial than in delve, that is why people find ways to play the league mechanic instead of doing the deranking
