Loyalty Tattoo of Tawhanuku - Eldritch Battery

Tattoo does not seem to work with Eldritch Battery allocated. Energy Shield recharge is being initiate while a Unique enemy is being fought, but no spirit is summoned.

Trigger Summon Spirit of Tawhanuku Skill when Energy Shield Recharge starts while a Unique Enemy is in your Presence

ES recharge always works unless the resource it protects takes damage, it doesn't stop recharging when it's full. Without MoM or similar stuff your mana doesn't take damage and nothing interrupts ES recharge, so it can't start recharging.
