PoE Degen... what the heck is killin us?! Feel like we're tanks, but its melting us down...

Maybe it's simple, hoping it is.

We have both built highly defensive characters, yet *some* kind of brutal degen keeps happening over and over, and we can't figure out what it is.

Here's what we're certain the degen is not:

Ground degen -- we move completely out of ground effects.
Bleed or corrupting blood -- we have a bleed immunity flask that only goes off only when bleeding starts.

We also don't believe its poison degen because it depletes our ES then Health (poison bypasses ES correct?). In addition we have 76 Chaos resistance.

So what could it possibly be?

Our Defensive stats in no particular order so you can see we're not slacking much in the defense department:

Ailment immune (Purity of Elements)
Max resists. Cold @ 80, Chaos @ 76.
Attack Block: 71%
Spell Block: 75%
Life regen: 650+
Armour: 47k
Phys Dmg reduction 89% without vaal molten shell
Evasion: 4k (just a bit for the heck of it)
Aegis Aurora Shield (es gained on block)
Divine Shield Keystone (es gained on Phys mitigation)
2x One with the Shield (100 Life gained on Block)
Antivenom (30% chance to avoid poison)
Block Mastery node (20 Life gained on block)
Crit immune (Garb of the Ephemeral AG)
Mobs enfeebled (Gravebind Enfeeble AG)
Mobs Taunted, blinded.

Any ideas? This is literally killing us...

Are you farming Exarch altars?

If so, get the burning ground immunity Pantheon.
This burning ground is multiple times stronger than the usual one and will delete even RF builds in no time.
