Blade Vortex doesn't work with Blast Chain support?

I'm trying (as a giggle) to use Blast Chain with Blade Vortex, but POE doesn't let me do it. It's not a chanelling spell... why would it not work?

Blastchain supports spells or attacks that use bows or wands.
It's been a while but I think that you need a sword or axe for Blade Vortex. I could be wrong though. Last edited by Gulch#5697 on Aug 29, 2023, 2:19:23 PM

" Blade Vortex can be used with any weapon, it doesn't care. But Blastchain only works with wand or bow skills so Blade Vortex won't work. |
