Ghost Busting MF

Ghost Busting MF seems to be most beneficial for group play which can have a dedicated ghost buster person. If you are solo, you need a tanky movespeed char to touch everything and then relog to your clear build.

20% quant nodes (40% with wandering path) overly benefit group play. 120% quant is over-tuned compared to all other skill tree mechanics. No other three nodes over double div card drops.

Very annoying optimal gameplay for solo MF. Could use some balancing to make such annoying relog gameplay not the most optimal way to MF. Perhaps spread out the quant better between other mechanics that don't require relog every map for solo players.

This was never a solo game and as such group play will always have benefits over solo play even if GGG shortens that divide which i don't care if they do or don't as long as the games playable for everyone, I understand where you're coming from and i will say that it was mentioned how OP control over tormented spirits could be before the league launch here in the feedback forum.

Is it busted though? Would love to hear some opinions on it from those playing.

Also as a long-time MFer of all types they could honestly just impose some global depreciating gains on MF similar to how resists are capped but can be raised and reign in MF a bit to be a still very useful playstyle but only allows so much on top when used along-side things such as spirits and would not stack over that global limit unless they added +max to xyz rarefind stat.

you can get like 800-1000 rarity right now and im not sure how much quantity you can get by yourself but its easily over 120 (in challenge leagues)

The rarefinder life also sucks, you're basically a wet noodle with culling strike.. that whole meta really needs a shakeup like rarefinders applying bonus to party members or marking monsters they hit applying their bonus no matter who kills them instead of the culling strike method which too many sources now exist for.

People should also stop thinking that if they don't have MF stats that they won't do well.. those extra stats you get in place of MF can go a long way, Perhaps changing the system and making it as i suggested would also alleviate that "need" and shift this role back to a healthy place in a party isntead of its aura-bot like status which don't get me started on aura's they need to break those down into more aura's to stop the aura-bot meta from being almost a literal bot with everything you need.

Group MFing has always been like this. People are always breaking the game and flooding the screen full of currency and items. MF as a concept is honestly broken. It was bad in D2 and it's bad here as well.

I mean, at least let Torment get some time to shine. It's been the mechanic that everyone points to, to being removed from the game. Least give it a league before we send it back to the depths.

No idea what you are smoking. Group play in this game has always been terrible performance wise. 6 man parties is like lagfest valhalla. But to get to your next point, people put up with slideshow PoE because it is severely imbalanced. Look at Empy's group, 15+ mirrors in less then a week. And they aren't playing PoE, they are playing a weird slideshow attempt not to crash game. And even then they make much more then any solo could ever make in a week.

Also MF get you just as far as having no MF aslong aslong your clear is similar. So no, it doesn't go a long way at all. Nobody with a brain would play MF if they are 50% slower lol.
