Spear Dancer hit kill always
This single unit is bringing so much frustration to people engaging in this mechanic and the slow adjustments to the league mechanic since the initial patch is somewhat worrying for the rest of the league looking forward.

Is GGG planning to do something with this problem?
I'm 886 in ranking atm, sometimes win sometimes lose. Ahuana boss in final match is always UNPLAYABLE due to few spear dancers. They not only kill player just by single touch and can warp whole screen in less than eye blink but also can turn back with same speed. I'm using traps and can manage to kill 1-2 of them but 3+ in last match (when opponent is always much stronger) is just impossible! |

I'm an evasion-based character (TS, 40k+ evasion with flask up).
It's an absolute nightmare to play versus Spear Dancers after 400+ ranking. I had to adjust my tactic after reaching 300 just because this NPC was one-shottting me, jumping from a screen away. I also have a strong feeling that either: - he has some sort of DotA-style MKB and ignores evasion, because I VERY RARELY dodge his off-screen attacks - he deals 50 attacks in a second and each small attack can kill me Oh, and by the way - this unit costs like 600 tribute, so almost every rival has him from the very first round, often multiple copies. I am at 900+ ranking now (just lost a divine because I got one-shotted 4 times in a row by this NPC, otherwise I won't be participating in this thread). Tawhanuku's chaos attacks don't one-shot me (17% chaos res btw). No other NPC (except Kiloava, but at least it's a "hero" NPC) doesn't one-shot me and rarely even hits. Anything match close to final on over ~350rank on my char its ridiculous - most hits oneshot, especially spear dancer when its hunted for my char.
Any fight start pretty mess and random with small chance to win - enemy team much more then my and most attack one shot me. When im kite, its easly drop totems. Zero chalange, im just make two fast loose in row just for its roolback to playable again. Im think its must be rebalanced. Overall tournament mechanic pretti cool, its interesting to play but its make very low effort so im dont see what GGG make its so hard and why its scale so much on ~300. Its like you feel ok on 300k, and after 350 its totally unplayble. |

Please nerf the spear dancer, the off screen one shots have to stop. Its to the point i dont want to play this mechanic anymore

Spear Dancers just show that GGG has no damn clue how to properly test things before launching something to production.

The bullshit is that she dashes from outside of the screen way too fast. There is no time to react and no time to dodge.

Whole heartedly agree with this post, spear dancers are such bullshit. They should absolutely be nerfed, or at the very least limit them to 1 per enemy! I get that it's not supposed to be "fair" and I'm even ok with being 1shot by anything that hits me, but when the enemy has 3 spear dancers it is IMPOSSIBLE to dodge them while also attacking/interrupting enemy channels. Not to mention that the screen is FILLED with effects from me, enemy heroes, most units, etc. It's straight up impossible to dodge THREE different spear dancer attacks with all that stuff on the screen (even 2 is too much).
The enemy hero has audio queues for much weaker abilities that don't 1shot me, but there is no warning for the spear dancer. Match starts and before I can squeeze a fart some spear dancer just one shot me from 2 screens away. Not to mention that evasion is 1000% useless against it. Ok, "accurate", I get it, but impossible to evade even with insane evasion numbers?? WTF is this and how did it make it past QA?! Otherwise I love the league, love the mech, one of the best ones yet and I am enjoying it a lot! Once we started running aspect of the spider and temp chains Spear Dancers became jokes. Their wind-up becomes so slow it's trivial to dash around.

Lost a match to Ahuona having a full spear dancer defender line. My units cant do anything, i cant channel without being mobbed by dancers from nowhere and their aggressive front line mages just take totem after totem and i cant interrupt them
One cannot help but wonder how such a lust for loot can affect a persons mind. Although these exiles appear to be our salvation, it would not take much for them to turn on us as easily as they fight gods and demons.
