PC randomly freezes while playing

So since the big update in 3.21 this has happened.

When ever I play it could take 5mins or 30mins but it will 100% freeze my entire PC and the only way to fix it is the force reboot my PC at the power button.

I've done everything in the book.

- GPU Drivers
- In-game Setting
- Windows Setting
- Verify Game files
- Uninstall / Re-Install
- Run as Administrator

My PC should run the game fine and has been for a while.

- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
- 16GB RAM
- GTX 1660 TI
- Windows 11

Since the update, when the game launches resources run at 100% (CPU, RAM, GPU)

Even my disk goes up to like 50% - 60%.
It ONLY does this with POE.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it

I have the same issues. From complete freezes, to simple back2desktop, to goddamn bluescreens.

Been crashing to desktop ever since that garbage "performance patch" they introduced last league. Last league I could play hundreds of hours without issues. I can't remember a single time where they launched patches that "improved performance" but instead destroyed the client for 99% of the userbase in one way or another. The game is completely unplayable now. The client closes itself to desktop 5-10 times per hour with no errors or warning messages. Tried everything. Full reinstall, deleting all cache (including in appdata) and fresh install after that, tried doing that for DX11/12 and Vulkan. Installed latest NVIDIA drivers. Nothing works. I play the game, and it just randomly closes to desktop whenever it feels like it. Seems there is no pattern to it.

I've given up hope and on this league, GGG has like one guy working on PoE1 and they'll never revert the garbage patch so that means I'm gonna crash a dozen times per hour for the remainder of the league. No thanks.

Same. And I am also complaining about it for 4 weeks. Moderators on reddit even lock my threads for shady "community guideline" reasons. Seems like this company is done.

Im in the same boat. It kickes me out of the game, and my computer freezes, only solutions its hard shutdown by holding power button. Came here to find a solution and apperently there isnt :(
