I have Soul Mantle equipped with ball lighting and it never open nearby chest when i spawn totems

" I think this is because Spell Totem is a support. The actual spell is cast not by you but by the totem. Yeah, it's a bit weird but I suspect that is why (I am set up also with the open mastery + spell totems). I trigger chests by manually spamming a curse or by using flame dash. Yet another unpaid Path of Exile 2 Alpha Tester.

Also, you don't cast totems, you place totems. The wording is specific, in this case.

Buddy, the mastery says "when you cast a spell"
Spell Totem Support has the "Spell" tag When i place a totem, i cast the spell to spawn a totem Therefore it is a bug, it should work |

And it works with Arcanist Brand, no reason it shouldn't work with soul mantle's spell totem
