"Force Move" button?

A dedicated move key (mappable) would be a HUGE asset to an already great game.

I don't always die in PoE, but when I do, I wish I had a move key.
I would really like a bind able move only key.
I don't get it. Why don't you hold down the right mouse button? Then you can run without attacking - and when you wanna attack again, you press shift, which makes it easier to aim.

It's easy as hell, just learn 2 play ;-)

I usually have no issue with movement but if there were to be a change like this i would just want the movement to be map-able.

This is something I really miss from D3. If it gets added somehow, it would be amazing, but not tops of my list.

Not sure what you're smoking, but I have attack skills bound to my right mouse button. ;)

Unless you're saying that we should all give up a skill-slot on our bars in order to have a move-only key?

This is a great idea, and i already made a thread about this. 200 to 400 hours (and i will defenitely play at least this much) of klicking or holding down the mouse button can be very stressful for my right hand, if i can bind it to e.g. spacebar i could at least divide the stress on both of my hands. This was at least one thing Diablo 3 made right. Think about that ggg!
+1, please add this, it would take so much stress off my index finger, and make the game experience so much more smooth.
This was one of the very few things D3 did right.
A force move key and with that, bindable mouse buttons so we can assign it to thumb button is one of my most wanted features in POE.

Another keyboard feature I would really like to see is a "hold this key to pick up item".
As it is now you constantly pick up item on accident, and have to later throw them back out on the ground again, quite annoying and I would be great to be able to bind a keyboard key that had to be held down to be able to pick up items.

No, because when you reach the destination you are holding your cursor at, you will start to use whatever skill is bound to RMB. Less than ideal.
