I am pretty sure this amulet may be bugged or the description is incorrect. Amulet states: Always freeze shock and ignite. In maps, many rares are Ignite resistant, which does not state immune. According to the amulet I should still ignite them 100% of the time. Also, in maps where enemies have a chance to Avoid Ailments, shouldn't this amulet not care and Always apply the ignite regardless of any conditions? It is currently not working that way. Would love to hear if this is indeed a bug. If this amulet does not in fact, Always apply ignite, it is truly 100% useless as 100% chance to ignite can be gotten almost entirely on the tree now and having an amulet that guarantees the ignite no matter what would at least semi-justify giving up the amulet slot for a low unique. In order for them to Avoid an ailment, you have to inflict it in the first place. This is why, instead of 'always hit' modifiers saying that you always land your hits or have 100% accuracy or something, they say that your hits "cannot be evaded".
The amulet also states "20% reduced ailment duration on enemies". Ignite Resistant monsters have 80% reduced ignite duration on them. The result is that you're inflicting 0% duration ignites, which are then discarded due to having no duration. |

Good info on the duration reduction, I couldn't find how much the resistant to ignite was. I allocated a point to increased ignite duration on the tree to get around this. I get what you are saying with inflicting the ailment. But the special statement of "always" is not like a stated 100% chance to freeze shock or ignite, its ALWAYS. Seems like that is the ailment equivalent of cannot be evaded? I understand why it works this way but the language is definitely incorrect. Shouldn't it be 100% chance to freeze shock and ignite which would be reduced by chance to avoid? Thanks!

Chance to inflict ailment and chance to avoid ailment are calculated separately. First, the chance to inflict ailment is calculated, if hit inflicts ailment, then chance to avoid ailment is calculated.
